Happy New Year

I can't write up the post mortem on the Fins 2009 season just yet with one game still to be played but barring a miracle the Dolphins are about to do something unique in their history: play an entire decade of football without notching a single postseason victory. Disappointing. Very disappointing. (Also unique: five different coaches in the decade.) But let's be optimistic, at least these last two seasons were an improvement on the two before them. So with hope for the future Past Interference wishes everybody a Happy New Year.

More disappointing than the lack of playoff wins:
This year marked the 25th anniversary of the last Dolphins Super Bowl appearance. I remember watching the SB XIX loss thinking "too bad,but the 49ers are a great team,no shame losing to them, and Marino's just in his second year,he'll get more chances."
At least this year gave Henne a chance to grow & improve for next season.

Wish I had thought of that J.A. I remember thinking the same thing you did when that game was over.

Rob, since it is the offseason, you guys should do some entries about great Miami Dolphin "What ifs". An example would be "What if Rusty Chambers, Larry Gordon, and David Overstreet didn't die?"
